It's being worked on right now. The issue has been identified and action is being taken. Just like action is being taken on CO2 emissions.
That's the great thing about the renewable revolution. Everything is being scrutinised. Unlike the old days where the pollution was hidden and the data manipulated by the fossil industry, now the information is out there for all to see.
As to what's worse in terms of emissions, I'd say defrosting tundra releasing billions of tons of methane into the atmosphere as a result of a warming climate is pretty bad as well.
What are we going to end with more of in the atmosphere in total ? CO2, SF6 or Methane ?
We're just working through the problems one by one........
