But in this new world armed conflict is old hat, we now have other means to overthrow the country by using children and social systems, but IMHO the leaders who "persuade" these children to give up their studies and go to war against the country and it's people should be treated the same, they should be also punished
I have minimal support for street protestors but they do have a right to demonstrate when they are adults it is their choice, but young children is a different matter as it is akin to child abuse
To make matters worse the people who are paid and given the honor of educating our next generation are the ones doing the abuse
