    Battery grade lithium prices haven't really moved much, still floating in the $12-14/kg. I believe the battery makers have been looking for higher purity lithium, like 99.9% or 99.99% carbonate as a result in shift towards the use of higher nickel content cathode, which is more sensitive to impurities. Thus, technical grade lithium with 99% lithium carbonate prices dropped off the cliff
