IFL may offer to pay their own legal costs instead of taking from tax payers as a way to settle this matter (on condition that APRA do not appeal). I am happy for IFL to move on from here stronger rather than play arrogance/wining game against authority/tax payers (who we are). APRA or ASIC need to be there and learn to grow from here. Without them, shareholders can be even in more trouble with dodgy managers. As a shareholder, I don't want to touch tax payers' money. IFL can easily handle the $20 million and move on.
