Jojo84. That should be telling us something, he's at the coal face and knows much more than we and the market do.
He's seen, painfully, that all the good results have done nothing to sustain the SP and not even another success at Olaroz would make much difference in the short term, but he'll certainly drill Olaroz and is probably doing so now.
But, I reckon that he's got the message from both the stock market and the lithium market that drilling results just puts then on the radar, but, what's needed, and as ASN are doing, they are producing small sample quantities to flog around the market to show that not only do they have the quantities but also the end product, battery quality lithium.
So, what you say is probably what Steve was talking about and what we should take as a clear message, forget the ST day to day fluctuations of the stock market and LKE's SP (leave that up to the ST punters) and concentrate on getting that PFS and the pilot plant running and producing. The "surprise" could come from some interim "production", like that 1kg. that ASN were so up beat about. Classic one small step, short term, but one giant step long term for LKE.

Anson Produces Battery Quality Lithium Carbonate
Highlights:
• ~1 kg of 99.9% pure lithium carbonate produced.

That ann saw their SP going from 4.7 to 8.2 on that day.
We should note that ASN won't have a pilot plant until "into next year", LKE plans for constructing a pilot plant late this year, so, it makes sense that Steve should be looking for potential down steam users (buyers!!) in the meantime.
LKE is certainly proving that they've got the sources, now, need to prove that they've got the goods!!! Watch that space.
