Of course every rentseeker and lobbyist will line up to make an easy quid. Just take a look at the dodgy water licences and tree planting offset programs. That's the separate issue of political corruption. Even during WW2, Vietnam, Afganistan and Iraq wars that is the same story. Its more likely the conservatives though handing out contracts and easy money to donors and supporters.
So lets not bother fighting more wars because corrupt officials will benefit hangers-on.
