No...she said her experience was that it was not hit and miss but there could be other issues involved and it did work better on certain breeds of dogs.Further as the weight of the dog increased so did the dose...so that it is weight related and there is a chart to determine the dose.
So what that means to humans needs to be investigated as joint problems are often associated with obesity and hence higher dose rates...
There is a booster is given after 6 months but could be given earlier...hope that helps.
