Intersting you say that. I know someone who is into Tech Analysis who metionned when the SP was in the 50s the bottom looked like low 40s. I doubted it could go that low but it did. he topped up at 39 and 38.5. He then said today it has broken out of a descending wedge and that it is bullish.
Although I don't subscribe to TA on its own, it has its p;ace with some fundamental analysis and if enough people follow it, it can be self fulfilling to an extent.
