Agree that it was already achieved with the 1kg sample from a chemistry perspective, but that sample was made with bench scale processes. The 55000mg/L concentrate announced today was produced using "commercial production processes".
For me, this ann has shifted ASN from "interesting chemistry experiment" to "commercial production capable".
As you say, next key step will be to prove up the economics. I dare say that it wasn't stacking up at this preliminary stage, hence the change in thinking to adjust the flow sheet to extract Br first. I'm cautiously optimistic that in light of todays ann, this change in the flow sheet will result in economically viable revenue streams from Br and Li (the caveat being that both will be required to the make the project viable).
