I'm afraid not something that can always be relied upon as it can be used either way.eg: a sell down to make people think not so good news coming with the point of buying back a bit lower with the resultant herd followers.
Then to sell them when good news is announced into the rise that would be sure to follow.
Not so easy to do but it does happen.
