There are many complications with these sort of transactions, and sometimes there are some not so obvious issues at stake:
Some companies just do not want to be miners, they will 'monetise' the resource asset once it is drill defined
As GGY have no other existing mines, perhaps this is the case.
The price a company gets for a resource depends on many issues - however if it is too small to justify a standalone development then it will not get a high price.
If you are relying on toll treatment and there is only one process facility nearby, you are likely to be scre_wed by high toll charges. It is not a economic 'given' that toll arrangements can be put in place amicably.
Copper is at a very high price, its a good time to sell a small copper deposit that someone else can develop now. In the future, the odds are that the copper price will be lower.
Do you really think you know more than an independent expert. Given that 1) he is independent and 2) he is an expert? When you are probably neither of both if you are a shareholder?
