History seems to indicate to me that most religions require another Prophet to clarify the meanings of some passages in their own Scripture. I'm confident the Jews didn't recognise Jesus as Messiah because of this lack of clarity. But this confidence is from my own research in comparative religion, so please research this for yourself.
