@Dg573974.. Have a look at the chart on WICs website... even tho the SP may be down, the chart shows a virtual 45 degree upside as opposed to CDM. CDM has been a disaster primarily because Karl let ARQ formerly Melbourne IT get to 18% of the portfolio..now less than 4%. So much for fund managers acting responsibly..... Has anyone subscribed to the latest annual sub of the Barefoot Investor ? It is his last and he has outlined his "Idiot Grandson Portfolio". A subscriber suggested WLE and Scott Pape came up with reasons why that couldnt be included. He (as you would expect) chose 3 (hands off) ETFs and it makes interesting and insightful reading. WIC and CDM make an interesting comparison. Both have significant shareholders CDM with Karl and WIC with Euroz., having a significant shareholderf with skin in the game, doesnt necessarily guarantee good performance. I agree, CDM altho below NTA is a basket case waiting to fall apart (especially with Karl still in control (or perhaps damage control) and I too wouldnt go any closer to it ATM than a 40 foot pole would allow !
