If you walked into a Year 10 Science classroom today asked them what the periodic table is they would be speechless.
We have three sons who studied engineering and are pleased they chose the "hard subjects" like Physics, Maths and Chemistry.
A lot of students don't do maths after Year 10.
It will be a cold day in hell when I allow myself to be lectured to by a sixteen year old who has never got out of bed early to do a day's hard work, paid the electricity bill for the family or fronted up with the cash for weekly grocery bill.
Enough of the sobbing and emotional clap trap.
