Audience at Unity palace 01/08/2008: The vice chairman and Executive Director of SUNDANCE Resources, Jeff Wedlock has been received in audience by the Minister of State, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic, Laurent Esso on behalf of the Head of State Paul Biya. Jeff Wedlock at head a four man delegation was at the unity palace to brief the government on the progress made so far, the huddles they face and the prospects in the exploitation and transportation of Iron Ore at Mballam in the East Province.
The project to extract and export iron ore at Mballam was developed by an Australian-based international iron ore company, SUNDANCE Resources Limited in partnership with CAM-IRON.
Some 35 million tones of Iron ore are expected to be extracted annually.
