Since you have shown an interest in Organica Water,
Fluence and Organica are working together in South America (Fluence is the sales agent).
There was another presentation last week on the 27th of September, 2019 in Argentina, titled "Advanced solutions for the treatment and reuse of effluents. Water reuse gardens". This is the 3rd presentation that has taken place in Argentina (two in 2018) as far as I am aware. There was also another presentation in Brazil attached to ALADYR last year where I originally picked up the partnership. The partnership falls under Organica Water's "Strategic Projects Group".
-Reduction of the physical footprint (implantation space) by 60%.
-Reduction of energy consumption by 30% -40% compared to conventional assets (reduction of carbon footprint).
-Appearance of a botanical garden (reduction of the psychological footprint).
-Installations free of odors.
-Installations that preserve the value of the land.
-Possibility of converting existing facilities to Organica FCR facilities.
In November, 2018, one of the presentations (in Argentina) was to the World Bank, plus their partners in Latin America and the Caribbean.
In this presentation, Fluence presented both MABR solutions and Organica Water solutions.

The wastewater challenge
Historically, Latin American and Caribbean countries have prioritized investments in systems of water supply. However, much remains to be done to improve the services of sanitation. Despite the income and urbanization levels of the region, only 60% of the population of the region has a connection to sewage systems, and only 40% of wastewater is treated, which has considerable implications for public health and the environment.
Wastewater: from Waste to Resource: A Regional Initiative
An important paradigm shift at several levels is necessary if you want to encourage the adoption of sustainable sanitation services in the context of circular economy in which wastewater be considered a valuable resource and not a burden. To live up to this challenge in the region, The World Bank, together with the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and other partners, has embarked on a new initiative called “Wastewater: from waste to resource”.
The workshop
The objective of the workshop is to share the preliminary findings of the initiative with the participants. Explore and analyze the problem of wastewater and present several case studies that reflect innovative approaches in the planning, management and financing of water treatment residual and resource recovery.
