It doesn't need a study. If you have sold out of a company for a big loss, you will feel a desire to critisize it whenever bad news appears on the horizon. It's normal. I like to stay away from stocks where there's a lot of disgruntled shareholders or ex-shareholders. Bad vibes and controversy around a company - steer clear.
