During days like this I think it’s a good idea to go back and have a read of either the half Year or full year reports. I’ve just read over the full year results for webjet and it highlights the differences between quality companies and “the market”. It’s a great read BTW. TTV of 3.8b, 43% increase in EBITDA, 46% increase in NPAT etc. Clearly their recent acquisitions are having a massive impact. Webbeds saw a 50% increase (plus the recent announcement of another 50% increase in first 10 weeks of FY2020). Besides the loss of 40ish million in unpaid receivables the loss of TC will be minimal. I don’t remember the exact numbers but I think it will cost about 7m out of webjet total projection of 120m EBITDA. I know reports have been quoting it coming out of webbeds but I own webjet not just webbeds. If these numbers are true it’s about 6%. Share price is off 40% and company is still growing. Plus throw in directors buying in the last month I’m very happy to keep adding. Interesting.
