Well MN, in NZ we receive Aust franking credits but we cannot claim them in our NZ tax returns. They are in effect useless.
I am pretty sure NZ imputation credits cannot be distributed as Aust franking credits, but I could be wrong.
Can you give me an example of one please. Did NZO dividend come with Aust franking credits?
