Consider that in the context of Ronen Shechter's interview in June this year in which he said...

Q. "How are you advancing Fluence’s “smart” water solutions strategy?"

A. "For the vision of the distributed network of small treatment system, you must have sophisticated and strong digital components to make your system smarter. To begin with, this is simply smarter than what we have now. We need additional capabilities for remote access, remote monitoring and data analysis as well as real-time alerts. This could then of course develop into yet still smarter systems, like virtual alerts that give you the heads up to deal with things before they occur and preventive maintenance according to indications that could be acquired independently by the algorithm controlling your system. Initially, smart solutions are digitalising and centralising the control for your decentralised systems and then step by step adding smart components to this to make it a really smart solution in the future. At this stage we already have a remote access platform that we are using ourselves to monitor systems that we operate or and have started offering for suitable projects. Over the next year, the number of systems we have connected will increase and the next stage will be to provide this as a service that you can buy separately to have us monitor your system remotely. The first step is manual monitoring of the operating conditions and results of all of our connected systems. However, in the second step we will implement more intelligent and algorithmic systems in collaboration with a specialised entity."
