Hi Dtcope, I'd be also interested in hearing Cabe's and others thoughts on the matter.

A good question you pose. If you'd asked me this a few years ago I would definitely have sided with the Balanced camp.
After some thought and experiences I've had and even a good conversation with a mentor of sorts, I now think for myself it is better that I have a disproportionate amount held in our wonderful company. I edged in...I did this slowly and almost precisely as I read an learnt more and more over the many weeks and months. The test for me was the sleep at night test and Im glad to say there have only been a couple of nights whereby my sleep might have been slightly affected and that was only because of those dratted CFD's I've mentioned, sure they are working out now but it wasnt without some trial and tribulations in the earlier days (earlier this year). I've always been very comfortable with the shares I've held though despite it being a disproportionate level of my overall shares.

However, I cannot state that this is a working formula always, there are some unique conditions at play with PAR...there is an acute demand for our product, our product works...there is science behind it, the results you know are amazing..the management are good..etc etc..you know it all, I don't have to re state it here. If it were a different company then my thoughts here wouldn't be as valid.

Unshakeable logic yes, but still consider something thrown at us that we haven't anticipated, again I state "what if we are wrong". Now realistically I think 97% we are right, only 3% of a disaster...sure the world might go into a mass recession, we are due for one...but even if we did, there is still such a strong, acute and large demand for our solution. This demand wont suddenly stop...maybe a bump...maybe a dent...but thats all. Anyway, consider if we were to lose, where would you stand and try the sleep at night test, thats usually a good indicator of where you stand.

True we only die at the end but I for one would like to have a comfortable journey towards the inevitable! (wouldn't most of us?)

Anyways that's what I think, definitely need to do your own research with your own investment style and consider the risk you yourself can digest.

    Happy investing.
