It would seem that we have to always dance the dance of the algos, dark pool trading, robo trading, shorting etc etc and just good old plain dishonesty before we get to where we should be by reasonable valuation and that is - all things being equal - a SP with a $3 handle.
There should be more regulation and moreover, trading restrictions but I suppose that's hard when the foxes are in charge of the hen house.
They think they're being so clever and I guess winners are grinners by any means. Anyone who thinks that the (closed shop) market is a level playing field is deluded.
At the end of the day it is what it is. "Caveat Emptor" or whatever the market equivalent would be for "Investor Beware".
