Good post.
As only about 10% of LCE is negotiated at spot prices I don't see much point in plotting a comparison between Chinese Li and the Global X ETF or AGY
Long term contracts seem to be the way things are going like Volkswagens contract with Ganfeng Lithium for 10 years.
AGY will want the stability of a contract so it can confidently ramp up production rather than be hung out on spot, I guess that's where Mitsubishi comes into play
I get your drift though and perhaps keeping an eye on the likes of VW's etc share price may give some clues.
