I know some people who invested into a competing food delivery business and the market is brutally competitive. As far as I know, nobody is making money in the market and the biggest players are spending tens of millions on marketing and promotions, backed by big VC dollars. The logistics and supply chain issues are devilishly complex and Woolworths and Coles are trying to get into this market in a big way too.
If this is the path that OLI has chosen to go down, the fat lady is well and truly singing.
