Ando, one of the problems with a 2nd strike is th is at you only need 25% of the vote to achieve the 2nd strike but then you have a second vote to actually spill the board - and that requires +50% of the vote to pass and the MD (Burton) is exempt from the vote.
so realistically the best we can hope for is other Directors go but PB will survive (I don’t think this is necessarily a good thing as I rate Durack and Davidson (but not Mr no-skin-in-the-game Chairman).
ideally we would achieve a second strike (unlikely anyway given the Germans and Vinson now speak for around 23%) and the Board rolls PB as he is clearly the person the vote is directed at.
fingers crossed he’s gone by the end of November but I won’t be holding my breath.
