There seems little doubt that climate change is now a political power grab. We have possibly the least qualified individual in Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who is hellbent on dismantling everything, giving us 12 years to right things. CO2 goes from 280ppm to 400ppm (i.e. 0.028% to 0.04% of the atmosphere) in 150 years and we're meant to throw in the towel.
If the level of CO2 had gone down by 120ppm, it would be at a point just above that at which plants start to expire. As anyone with a greenhouse would tell you, plants thrive on levels much higher than the current level.
There's so much to this. Off the top of my head, the Polar bear was meant to perish, it's numbers are now up dramatically; the Arctic ice is at the same level as 1930 ;the Great Lakes and the Amazon are green and, particularly the Great Lakes, thriving; historical graphs indicate that changes in co2 follow changes in temperature, not the other way; the supposedly devastated Scott Reef recovered completely.
The current concentration of co2 is much lower now than at many times in the last 550 million years yet in that time the earth temperatures were much colder.
This is the level of discussion that Greta should be getting herself involved in, not carrying on with the lunatics on the left. Unfortunately, this won't happen and she will keep trotting out the crap we have all heard. They condemn people for being critical, but can you imagine how the left would tear her to shreds if she had a moment of clarity and recognised the absurdity of the doom and gloom she is spouting?
