Purely speculation but i see it playing out as per below;
12 month IMEC extension announced by end of month.
end of Q4 imec update advising latest batch of wafers completed, progressing with 1mb integration.
Feb 2020 - Analysis of first chips complete. im assuming results will be good enough for the chips to be distributed to industry players.
IMEC continues with iteration process further refining performance. we need to remember that the chip will never be 100% and there is always further development that can occur. imo 4DS should continue development while waiting for any commercial arrangements to develop.
4DS ramps up marketing activities and releases some actual performance metrics. first indication of an interested party to be announced june 2020, +- 2 months.
