It's hard to believe that oncosil won;t be approved.
I really think that it will have less problem with the FDA than with CE. I suspect even a small RCT would be enough to see it marketed there. The field is still evolving and looking for good options, and oncosil really has several advantages.
An RCT of Chemoradiotherapy with oncosil vs chemotherapy alone in Locally Advanced Ca Pancreas would be well supported. The issue would be whether this would enrol untreated patients or patients after initial chemotherapy.
But honestly, any reading of the Up To Date section on 'Initial Chemotherapy and radiation for non metastatic locally advanced unresectable and borderline resectable pancreatic cancer' would lead you to believe oncosil should be approved
