for me the tracking centres around being able to track signs that folks are looking at stocks before they post on them across a range of SM - by then of course they have already bought their fill - thus imagine someone looking at PDN a few times - that could mean they are thinking about PDN, or another like prospect - maybe LOT for example? thats where the matrices come in handy, and if more than person who is "aligned" are looking at the same stock then depending on how many prior links they have, it may be game on - fortunately some folks are so very predictable

you are far more astute than me though and have the technical knowledge to go with it, which is why I shell out large amounts of readies to look for an edge, and so far so good
