Always good to get alternative views but I still think it’s a great announcement.

1) Not undertaken by Neurosurgeons for the exact reason 20time19 highlights.....they tend not to do it. Nerve repairs, vascular anastomoses etc are the territory of specialist Orthopods &/ or plastics.

2) Not sure what else you want - surgical protocols?

3) Probably means what it says - 11 of the 25 repairs were done in 3 patients! All depends where the injury is as to how many nerves need fixing. Tree Trunk into branches is a good analogy.
