that’s certainly still a draw card with cc, although many in the millennial demographic are not that astute with FF use. Youngest daughter doesn’t have a point earning CC, oldest daughter does and is a bit of a point hound, which she uses for upgrades on overseas trips. She is a doctor so never knows whether she will have holidays or not until 4 weeks out, which makes it hard to get awards. I am pretty keen on my points from CC spend, which we use for local awards - haven’t paid for a domestic flight in years.

so yes - quite possible that points earning will continue to make CC attractive with a segment.
