The failure of a rotating pressure seal so soon after installation is almost certainly a result of either faulty installation or design failure. Let's hope it was faulty installation. One of the reasons for these tests is to iron out operating procedures and design limitations. Under the circumstances a two week delay is an unfortunate irritation but that's all it is.
The real issue is the stability of output temperature at the well head.
