Most of the run up in zinc prices was on 10th Oct when the Skorpion news was announced prior to the trade news today.
Partial trade deal helps the short term sentiment but will do little to help the underlying issue of weak demand. Not the first time in the trade war things were looking positive but ended up going 2 steps back.
Worth remembering that 25% tariffs still apply - this just delays the increase to 30%.
