    Thanks Schmoove, I respect your posts.

    An excerpt from the announcement of nViso agreement ;

    ”nViso agrees perpetualglobal license, takes strategic stake in ePAT
    Highlights;
     ePAT has reached a key agreement with nViso for a perpetual, exclusive, global license to use nViso Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology for pain assessment in healthcare
     ePAT welcomes new strategic investor to the share register, nViso* who are recognised internationally for their expertise in artificial intelligence and micro expression analysis
     Partnership between the two parties will accelerate the development and commercialisation of AI in innovative mobile applications
     Payment to nViso will be shares and cash, aligning the parties to commercialisation success “

    I agree, as good an agreement as can be - Have nViso since sold down some of the 30m shares they received?
    It seems to be that PCK has the exclusive use of all AI tech they create based on healthcare alone.
    So if Apple/Phillips/Bayer comes along and buys out nViso to take control of their tech where would that leave us? (It would still leave us with all the customers and data to date)

    From the US Patent approval Ann ;
    ”PainChek® is currently completing national filings for the same patent in Australia, China, Europe, Japan and the United Kingdom”

    My query is what exactly is protected? I had some dealings with patents last year, its a complicated world. Happy to place my trust in PD on this one, just hope they have a top patent attorney on board.
    If we can protect the AI aspect of assessing pain then that is huge. People have mentioned having it in cars - to assess after a crash, built into hospitals/ nursing homes etc.
    I suspect it is far less general that this and limits us protection of the AI tech in a mobile device or something along those lines.

    I’m not trying to be negative here - I’m just scratching my head thinking how is this stock still 33 cent.
    If PCK is going to grow into a 5 or 10 billion dollar company then it will draw the attention of some pretty big sharks.

    Having said all of the above - the one factor we will have within the next 2 - 3 years is data. Our AI tech will have done millions of assessments by then, learning and improving all the time as AI does. So any future rival would find it impossible to compete with the in house knowledge we would have gained by then.

    And then we have the Baby App!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve just spent 3 days in a neonatal ward - looking at the various staff guessing as to how things are - they would give anything to take a quick video and get an accurate assessment, and money is not a factor in these situations. It’s simply another tool to give people in making an informed decision.
    I look forward to the results from the baby app trials.

    All I can see holding back the SP in the short term is revenue - and the next 2 quarterlies will start to put a jump on that.
    In 6 - 12months we get into the ASX300........ 12 months following that the ASX200.
    Then we have index funds buying in at whatever price they can get.
    $5 SP in 3 years doesn’t seem as far fetched as it was a few months ago.

    So that leaves the last risk of a buyout - I think @rickflair has a number for us on that one......

    I’ll supply the Jameson for that party.......
