With a major recession or depression on the horizon, goats will be desperate for cheap borrowings. Ally that to ‘concerns’ that people cannot manage their super competently (losses from the stock market dropping in recession) what better way to ‘help’ retirees by insisting that super is taken as an annuity in the form of government bonds?
