Just to set the record straight regarding almond milk consumption in cafes....
I own a large (very popular) cafe in Sydney’s inner west.
over the last 5 years I have seen large growth in almond milk. But just to be clear... it is soy milk that is becoming less popular. Almond milk is quickly replacing soy as to “go to” milk alternative.
...an example to further illustrate this shift away from soy milk is the release of a new product from Bonsoy. They have just released Bonsoy almond milk to compete for the market share they are rapidly losing.
FYI...below are our weekly milk volumes
800L of A2 milk
90L soy milk
75L almond milk
3L lactose free
1L oat milk
