The link between climate denial and right wing nationalists is crystal clear. The right wing, fascists, right wing conservatives, call them what you choose, they hate the idea of action on climate change because it is GLOBAL. They see it as globalism and think global action must be socialist / left wing. Global action scares the bejesus out of fascists. They are scared, they see it as a threat to their childish beliefs of 'not in my backyard mentality which also explains why nationalists are often lovers of guns. The world needs to unite to fight climate change. For the nasty little nationalists such cooperation on a global scale goes against their beliefs.
