Is the glass half full or half empty?
I like to live with a positive spirit, and with that I decided to sidetrack from the Eu market and have a look at China. No doubt the car market struggles a bit overall due to TW and general financial woes. The BEV market has had the added difficulty with subsidies being rolled back.
All new opportunistic manufacturers will not survive, however, I believe the BEV market is resilient. With aforementioned 'ingenuity and inventiveness' car manufacturers will evolve and market continue to grow. IMO Tesla will do really well in China, specially since China produced cars will be ~15% cheaper than the imported ones. Time will tell
