"What I do not understand is why ANZ sold SLA shares so cheaply. What they know we do not know?"
anz have to sell the Opes Prime holding within 1 year of getting them. They held nearly half the companys shares. Most of those shares belonged to directors & the scientists behind solagran. I wondered if the company would actually survive.
You may ask why they sold so cheap. I actually wonder why the buyers paid so much!
anz have actually managed to escape with about $15m from their holding in sla. It could have been much much less.
