The city of Black Hawk recently completed a project to stabilize a steep mountainside along Bobtail Road. Peak materials recommended EdenCrete be used in place of micro fibers in the shotcrete because it required a unique performance; capable of being stacked from the top down to the roadside. The fresh properties and crack resistance provided by EdenCrete were a welcome alternative to pumping shotcrete dosed with micro-fiber. 600 yards placed with no pump issues, segregation, or sand packing. The EdenCrete mix can be pumped at 1/3 less pressure than traditional shotcrete; 1800 psi vs 3800 psi. Very interesting project to be a part of.
