Well yes, I think your observation aptly summarises our opinions. You are optomistic for the market, whereas I am pessimistic. Although in truth, I would avoid using the 'p' word because IMO it has negative connotations where someone who is pessimistic usually tends to have a negative outlook whereas I believe I honestly see things the way they are, and don't have any tendancy to be positive or negative.
I have absolutely not the slightest problem with you either.
The initial discussion on the options was meant to engender general discussion from HotCopper members, and it was also intended as advice, from me, to other less sophisticated investors (not necessarily you DENUM) that the options may not expire 'in the money' when it seems many people think they will - that is, the same people who then ask 'can you please explain how they work.'
The length of the thread is largely due to certain who attacked me. Hence, the thread gets longer.
