“The stethoscopes are currently being tested in clinics in Bangladesh, Malawi, Peru, and the Johns Hopkins pediatric emergency room, and they will eventually be commercialized by the startup Sonavi Labs.”
Interesting reading of the smart stereoscope, assume it can perform same diagnostic function to RAP however RAP had first move advantage. Their clinical test started at least 3 years later which means this baby cannot get approval when RAP has revenue.
Assuming a GP already has RAP products in place then offered this equipment, it need to be more accurate and cheaper to use to replace or add-on to exiting device, can you elaborate how it can achieve both?
