Career One AND Zip being so heavily involved is a great thing, not a bad thing. Career one has the brand name behind it, plus the huge job applicant database and Zip has the proven track record of growing a company to huge heights. How are they both being so heavily involved a bad thing? I'm not sure how you are taking that as a negative, especially since NVO is a shell in its infancy right now. Best time to get in is now, same time when all the big wigs are getting in.
