Been reading a little lately about the importance of keeping an eye on the sector a stock belongs to and trading the sector to some extent as part of your trading plan.
I checked BMN on comsec and it is listed as being in the Materials sector (with the majority of resource stocks), however PDN, ERA and EXT are listed as being part of the Energy sector.
Why is BMN not part of the Energy sector as well?
Do people think that sector based sentiment has a big effect on a stock like BMN?
