Of course Banks will advise people may not be eligible for a home loan if you have an Afterpay account. Looking forward Afterpay could and more then likely will, be a major threat to all Banks. This has very little to do with ones credit rating. It is clear moving forward that an Afterpay account must be closed to obtain a home loan. It is not surprising banks are coming hard to protect their own, but it does hint that they see Afterpay as the most major threat to Bank profits. I would suggest Afterpay’s major focus right now would be outside of Australia
