"U.S. supply drop lifts crude

NEW YORK (CBS.MW) - London crude jumped 50 cents a barrel Wednesday after the latest U.S. supply data showed an inventory drop.
Brent crude for September delivery rose to $25.54 per barrel in recent trading on the International Petroleum Exchange, their biggest gain in more than a week."
A portent of things to come, maybe?
