I agree about the fundamental case. It's still there and I am excited by the science and the potential. As for sp falling for technical reasons I don't believe that unless you are referring to Manipulative reasons. Eventually society will ask legislators to apply jail terms for criminal manipulation - we just haven't got there yet, quite, too busy dealing with banking and insurance crime. A complete ban on short selling will fix it for a thousand years.
As will compulsory locked in trading bids with 10 second life.
