OMH is making record sales of FeSi as I note
"Malaysia's Export of FeSi in July 23,617 Tons"
"Malaysian ferro-silicon expanded market share."
"A part of the producers of Malaysian ferro-silicon (OM Sarawak and Pertama Ferroalloys) are making a positive sale, and the contracts with a cheap price meant for Japan and South Korea as November shipment are sporadically seen. Some of the contracts for the spot market for shipments during November to December are seen to be made by being around US$90 cheaper than Chinese products."

Silicomanganese
"In India, the price of silicon manganese continued to drop for such reasons as (1) Ore price offered by overseas manganese mine continued dropping, (2) Slumping price gets prolonged due to delayed recovery in the European market and (3) Price competition occurs in the Asian market. The contract with FOB price exceeding US$950 can't be seen, and such information is heard as the lower price is around US$900. Major producers are scheduled to cut production by half and suspend operation, but cannot prop up the price."

As to Malaysian silicon manganese, OM Sarawak and Pertama Ferroalloys Sdn. Bhd. are producing, of which Pertama Ferroalloys now focuses on the production of JIS Standard 0 and 1 and the shipments based on long-term contracts. Recently, OM Sarawak seems to set the price meant for the spot market (CIF Japan) at the same price as Indian products."
