Arijit Mukherjee

Introduction

Arijit completed his BE & ME in Computer Science from reputed universities in India. After completion of the Master's degree, Arijit worked in the software industry for five years in various cutting edge telecom projects for global telecommunication giants. In May 2002 Arijit joined the School of Computing Science, Newcastle University, UK as a Research Associate working with evolving Grid technologies and service orientation and earned his PhD from Newcastle in 2008. From June 2008, Arijit worked as a lead researcher at a telecom revenue assurance product company in Kolkata till joining TCS Research & Innovation in September 2011 as a Senior Scientist. His research involves massively parallel processing, distributed systems and cognitive computing in the context of Industry 4.0.
