imo you're being slightly obtuse. id already made the point about market timing and the negative impact of big macro calls that shred investor dollars that was key to my partial refutation.

but its important to acknowledge there is a shred of reason in what he;s saying =- and a much bigger dose in what you are saying

and where the rubber hits the road for both is to acknowledge macro long dated bull calls are wrong for long periods and so pose a danger of being misleading - people often lose significant sums to such generic views if they lack the technical and economic background to interpret them in terms of timing.
